Sarah Auld

Sarah Auld grew up in this church but is currently living in Newcastle, northern England with her husband Shane. She is a physiotherapist, a vibrant personality and a keen sportswoman but since 1997 she has suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome. As a consequence she is often unable to play sport, work fulltime, go out socially or get involved in any other activities. At times she is well enough to be physically active and work fulltime, and at other times she is forced to rest 12-16 hours a day.

Sarah's poems contain insights gained from her suffering.

Many of the poems are contained in her book available at www.publishamerica.com/books.9196

If you hear a rumour - This is definitely not great poetry but heeding the message might save a lot of heart-ache.

Rhonda Hanna

What Did You Expect? - Rhonda was part of a TEAR Fund trip to the Philippines and this poem is a reflection on that.

Don Tayles

Don recited this poem to me as we stood by a bonfire on New Year's Eve 2002 at the Pounawea Convention. I was so impressed I asked for a copy, which Don very graciously provided. Don, I hope you don't mind it being made available to a wider audience.
